Vice President, Operations, Lion Healthcare

Kerry Stewart

Kerry has extensive work experience spanning over two decades leading high performance teams and now serves as the Vice President of Operations at Lion Healthcare. With more than a decade devoted to healthcare, Kerry possesses a profound understanding of the complexities and demands within the retirement and long-term care landscapes across North America.

Prior to joining the executive team at Lion Healthcare, Kerry held progressive leadership roles overseeing the operations of retirement and long-term care homes across Ontario. Her expertise enabled her to adeptly navigate collective bargaining/agreements, regulatory frameworks, the transition to fixing long-term care act, 2021 and person/ resident centered care. Kerry actively engages with the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority and Ministry of Long-Term Care to ensure compliance and to uphold the rights and welfare of our most seasoned citizens. She remains an advocate of continuous improvement to elevate the standard of care for all.

As a dedicated member of the OLTCA, Kerry champions person-centered care, ensuring that third-party staffing partners align with the core principles of dignity and respect for all residents. Kerry’s commitment to excellence and her unwavering focus on enhancing the long-term care sector fosters collaboration and innovation at the most senior level. That combined with being a dedicated student of servant leadership, Kerry consistently drives operational success in pursuit of the best possible quality of life for our most vulnerable citizens.

Recognizing that improving the long-term care experience is a shared responsibility, Kerry is committed to empowering her teams to make impactful contributions that resonate throughout the sector. Regional Manager, Ontario

Daniel Anthony Beard

Coming in with  15+ years of experience providing excellent customer/client services and defusing conflicts through active listening and interactive problem-solving, Daniel has proven time and again his ability to develop strong teams and leaders.

His skills as a social worker and passion for health care allow for excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills to train groups of up to 30 people and to coordinate community outreach, educational, and physical fitness.

Daniel’s favorite quote: "The person you want to be coaches the person who you currently are, live not in fear of the future but of the present moment"

Daniel has experience working with diverse groups in community and mental health services: immigrant youth, marginalized youth, the elderly, youth with disabilities, and people with mental health issues.

Talent and Quality Manager

Aleksandra Stojanovic

An accomplished Manager with a demonstrated history of effective leadership, strategic prowess, and a knack for resolving complex challenges. Alex consistently enhances operational efficiency, realizes substantial cost reductions, and cultivates high-performing teams, thereby steering organizations toward success and growth.

Throughout her career, Alex has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and strategic planning skills, successfully optimizing operations and driving efficiency improvements, resulting in significant cost savings for the organizations she has served.

Her ability to identify and solve complex operational challenges, coupled with her effective communication and interpersonal skills, has allowed Alex to manage successful teams and streamline processes, contributing to the overall success and growth of the companies she worked at.

Alex is fluent in English, Serbian and conversational Greek.

Recruiting Manager

Natasha Zivic

Natasha is a seasoned Recruiter with a demonstrated track record of sourcing and securing top-tier talent for organizations across various industries. With a keen eye for identifying the perfect fit and a commitment to delivering high-quality candidates, Natasha plays a pivotal role in elevating team capabilities and achieving recruitment goals.

 Natasha successfully managed the day-to-day operations of the Toronto office for one of the largest Canadian Fashion Retailers while providing essential administrative support to top-level executives.

She oversaw HR practices, including recruitment and employee relations, and conducted corporate training for all new employees.

Natasha speaks English and Serbian.

Regional Director of Operations

Anna Smith

Anna Smith is our Regional Director of Operations for the West Region of Ontario. With over 20 years of experience in leadership roles across long-term care (LTC), retirement homes, and as an instructor for PSW/RPN certification, Anna is a dedicated advocate for compassionate, high-quality care in our industry.

In her role, Anna is responsible for conducting audits, providing on-site education, performing spot checks, and engaging team members who demonstrate excellence while addressing areas for improvement. She has a collaborative relationship with on-site leaders in pursuit of augmenting their continuous improvement efforts and building a positive workforce to support our aging population.

Anna is playing a key role in building strong relationships with our partners and helping to raise healthcare standards across the industry.

Field Manager

Amandeep Singh

Aman is a committed Field Manager servicing clients in Northern Ontario and some of the remotest towns scattered around Ontario. He takes pride in his hands-on approach to client service and serves as a conduit for employee and client communication.

Aman has a diploma from Mohawk College in Health Wellness and Fitness and uses his passion for healthcare to cultivate relationships with the Long Term Care and Retirements homes to ensure we are always being proactive with their needs and ensuring only the best-fit candidates are on-site at all times.

Aman is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Haryanvi.

Scheduling Manager

Harleen Kaur

Harleen brings a wealth of efforts and dedication to her role. With a background in General and Health Care Administration from Mohawk College, she has been an integral part of managing the scheduling team for the past 6 years. Harleen believes in hard work and an unwavering commitment and dedication to work ethic are they keys to success.

Mansi is the Scheduling Manager at Lion Healthcare, where she plays a pivotal role in coordinating staff schedules, ensuring smooth client interactions, and setting up orientation programs for new hires. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficiency, Mansi ensures that all scheduling needs are met seamlessly, contributing to the overall success of the team and the satisfaction of clients.

Known for her strong communication skills and organizational expertise, Mansi thrives in a fast-paced environment, always ensuring that operations run smoothly. She is dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive work atmosphere for both clients and staff.
